Hang out on the couch comfortably, with your feet up on the table. Coffee tables are not meant to be used as a pouf, but we still do, making (some of) us feel like we're misusing the table, making it dirty.
The large pillow on the top invites to relax, while leaving space for a couple of cups. And if you want to use the entire top surface, just move the pillow to the bottom shelf.
