Design for 3D printing

Parametric design and 3D printing are made for each other: they allow complex shapes and intricate aesthetics that could not be produced with traditional methods.

This vase is a form and material exploration, successfully testing the limits of MJF 3D printing: it is made of thin strings which are strong yet flexible, securing the glass in the middle.
